5 Weight Loss Tips That Make You Slimmer
Are you struggling to lose weight? Does fighting the pounds feel like a battle you are constantly losing? Now it is time to take your weight loss goals seriously and finally win the war on the bulge!
Here are five effective tips to help you reach your weight goals.
1. Location, location, location!
Locate your food properly. Ok, what do I mean by that? Well most people with weight issues have huge servings of food. Try to eat smaller portions. This starts by using smaller plates.
When you want to eat smaller amounts of food and you place that food on a large plate it looks like you are depriving yourself of food. However, place the same amount of food, or even less, on a smaller plate and it looks like you are eating more!
2. Eat slowly!
The slower you eat the quicker you fill your belly. This is for two reasons. Firstly when you chew for longer you take in more air which takes up room in your belly. And, when you eat slower you recognise when you are full before you stuff all the food you have into you!
3. Stock up!
You can use soup or stock (which is basically flavoured water) to fill up on. Make sure you choose low-fat/low-calorie types! When you feel hungry simply fill a normal mug with some of your tasty fluid and drink up. I find that chicken noodle soup from a packet is the tastiest, lowest in calories and lowest in fat (approx. 0.5grams of fat per serving).
4. Rev up!
Take at least 30 minutes of exercise every day but split it into four 15 minute segments. It does not even have to feel like exercise. Traditionally you would have to go to the gym, go for a run or a fast walk and sweat those pounds of fat away.
This time though simply park the car a little further away from your work so you have to walk 15 minutes to get there. That is 15 minutes at the start of the day and 15 minutes at the end of the working day.
You can use this same approach when you go to collect the kids from school. Go shopping, to visit friends etc. By simply splitting your 30 minutes up it makes the exercise more manageable and ensures you are much more likely to keep it up.
You can also split the exercise into three 10 minutes segments if it makes it easier.
5. Condition your body & mind! Start now to change how you view exercise and how you interact with food. Through mind/body conditioning tools such as weight loss hypnotherapy you can retrain your mind and body to love exercise!
With the correct hypnotherapy cd you can even train yourself to crave healthy food and reject unhealthy, fatty foods. You can make your actions and behaviours reflect those of fit and healthy slim people just by listening to some hypnosis.
Follow the above simple 5 tips and you will watch as the fat melts away from your body!
