The mind is a tricky thing. It can be our best friend and our worst enemy. Often it is both depending on the situation. As a human being your mind tells you that keeping things the way they are equals safety. Your mind tells you that the way you have been doing things so far has kept you safe so doing the same things again will continue to keep yourself safe.
Your mind, and especially in the subconscious realm, has no reasoning faculties and equates the status-quo of your life with safety.
It also equates change and uncertainty with danger! This is why making changes in your life can often be difficult and stressful – you are trying to push past the resistance of your mind which wants to keep you safe!
Your main drive in life, at a subconscious level, is safety. So, if your subconscious mind equates safety with keeping things the way they are then you can see why it is so difficult to make the changes that you consciously want.
Therefore the key to changing your life is to first change your mind. You must ensure that your subconscious mind equates safety with a new vision you have for your life. You can only do this by overcoming and removing the negative subconscious programming that you have accumulated over your lifetime.
If you are tired of living a life of mediocrity and which to experience your full potential then you must start with your mind. All goal-achievement, no matter what that means for you, starts in your mind. Even wealth begins in the mind! You must first see yourself as deserving of what you want. Then you must believe that it is possible for you to achieve what you want. Finally you must take action to get what you want.
Now, this may seem like a simple set of procedures to you. You may think that if it was that easy then everyone would be living lives of contentment, abundance and happiness. Well, this is true. If everyone did follow the three simple steps outlined above they would have everything they want. However, what is not true is the belief that these things are easy to do! In fact, they are far from easy and are often so difficult that most people fail at them or do not even bother trying!
Our beliefs are so ingrained into our subconscious patterns of thought feeling and behaviour that if sometimes seem like an impossible task to change them. When the subconscious mind rebels against any conscious attempt to change the status quo it becomes an uphill nettle that many of us lose. However, it does not have to be that way.
The whole personal development and self improvement industries are dedicated to that one thing – changing your mindset! There are a myriad of tools, devices, recordings, video and other media designed to help you make the internal changes you need to make so you can take action and create the external changes you desire to experience.
By fart the best, fastest and most effective way to do this is through a process known as “releasing”. With courses such as the Sedona Method and Release Technique it is possible to eliminate subconscious programming and take the action you need to take to attain the things in life that you want to attain.
In fact, by eliminating negative subconscious programming you can achieve so much more with so less effort than you could through conscious “will” alone. The truth is simple; you need to change your mind before you can ever change your life!
