The Paradigm Shift
Paradigms control the results in your life. They have power over everything. This includes your relationships, finances, health and happiness. The truth is that no matter how hard you try to change things nothing will change until your paradigm changes.
When you shift your paradigm everything in your life improves.
At least this is what Bob Proctor believes and teaches to his students and those people who wish to improve their lives in specific areas or just in general.
So what is a paradigm and how do you shift it? Good question! The word paradigm has its root in the Greek word "paradeigmia" which was used to refer to a "pattern" or an "example".
The reason the word paradigm is used by Proctor, and many others, to explain how you think and feel about the world is literally due to the fact that how you think and feel about the world is just a pattern - It is a belief or pattern of thought!
When you change your pattern of thought, which is merely a subconscious program, about the world and your place in it then the world and your place in it change - at least for you! This is because this pattern of thought, or paradigm, is merely an assumption about how you think the world is. Often paradigms are not based on any solid evidence but on misguided advice from peers or one or two life experiences that may not form the basis of reality!
Changing your world view, by changing your assumption of the world and your view about yourself, your abilities, your deservedness and your self-image can have dramatic effects on all areas of your life because it allows you to move forward and take changes without the fear that you are unable to succeed.
However, when you dig even deeper into your belief structures you will find that you have many, many paradigms all connected to different things. These patterns of belief effect your behaviours and are connected to different areas of your life. They always affect the results you get in that area because they drive your behaviours and your focus.
So, for example, if you are a single woman who believes that all the good men are taken, then this paradigm will ensure that you only focus on men that reinforce this belief. Subconsciously you are driven to see the world the way your paradigm believes it is not how it really is. The truth is there are over 7 billion people on the planet and roughly half of them are men so how likely do you think it is that all the good men are really taken?
If you believe the above paradigm your mind is probably telling you "yeah that may be true but all the good men in my town are taken"!
Your paradigm always wins out!
The good news is that paradigms are relatively easy to change and teachers like Bob Proctor can show you how to do it.
Making small shifts in minor paradigms can have dramatic effects on your life in the long-run! The first paradigm you really need to change is the one that reflects your self-image. How you view yourself and your abilities can be the most powerful paradigm in your life.
If your self-image is strong and positive your life will be happy, prosperous and easy. If your paradigm about yourself is negative then your life results will be poor. If you have a negative self-image you will be broke, unhappy, and maybe even ill.
Through the Bob Proctor training programming the SGR program you can learn to change these paradigms and thus change your life.
