A Brief Biography of Bob Proctor
You may have first come into contact with Bob Proctor and his teachings through the DVD presentation "The Secret". Rhonda Byrne, the producer of the "The Secret", wanted to ensure she got Bob for the DVD and considered him the most important teacher.
Although he was certainly not as famous before The Secret as he is now he was extremely well known and well respected within the self improvement industry and the business community.
Bob would describe himself as a teacher of universal laws. He places a heavy emphasis on helping his students create wealth and prosperity - in many cases millions of dollars.
However, he also teaches that wealth is not just about money and therefore shows his students how to better all areas of their lives. But, he is not just a spiritual teacher. Proctor states that everyone who wants to be should be financially rich!
Bob is considered by many in the personal development industry to be the leading speakers on the law of attraction and the other 10 universal laws that compliment it.
Although he started his career with very little education Bob has created a multitude of businesses around the world which all began with a simple little book - Think & Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill.
Although Bob Proctor was a young man with very little prospects he decided to give everything he did 100% commitment in the belief that giving his all to his tasks would eventually make him rich.
This view of the world and goal-achievement may seem strange to us but it allowed Bob, a lowly cleaner, to develop a multi-million dollar empire just by cleaning to the best of his ability.
When he first embarked on his life-long journey of self improvement he was earning only $4000 a year and was $6000 in debt but he did not let this dissuade him.
When he began to implement what he was learning from the personal development resources he was using Bob quickly went on to earn $100,000 a year (within a year in fact) and soon after that he started to earn 1 million dollars a year.
Not bad for a high school drop-out who earned a living as a cleaner!
Most of Bob's success is based on the teachings found in two outstanding books. The first is Think & Growth Rich by Napoleon Hill and The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace D. Wattles.
Bob Proctor achieved so much success from using the principles in the Science of getting Rich that he joined forces with Jack Canfield (chicken Soup For The Soul) and Michael Beckwith (from The Secret) to create a comprehensive course based on the Science of Getting Rich.
This is proctor's latest project and is based very heavily on showing people how to earn huge sums of money by doing what they love to do and by working with universal laws of creation and attraction.
